On Wednesday 19th March the school was visited by an HMIe Inspector, a Mr Geddes, who is involved in the national review on how technologies have impacted on the classroom. He gave the following review via e-mail “Thanks John, and please pass on my thanks to your staff and pupils for a very enjoyable and productive day. In particular, please thank Erin (Mills) and Calum (MacLeod) for their guided tour. They, and the other pupils I met, did the school proud. I will be in touch with the school when we have a complete picture of the evidence from across all the visits for the technologies impact review, and we are in a position to decide on filming visits (filming of good practice in the classroom, of which he believes we had two, out of three lessons observed, worthy of sharing nationally on the Education Scotland website). Best wishes for your new post. And thanks again for all the efforts you and your team put in to organising my day, it was a highly professional piece of work. Bill”
On Tuesday the 25th of march, 21 S from Brittany are going to visit the school.

The Astérix Force and Les Eliminateurs did very wel, showed great teamwork, research and language skills to complete the task at the same times as more than 300 teams across Scotland. National results on the 21st of April. Bonne Chance!

A big thank you to Lochaber Rugby Club, for inviting KHS grils to train with them for a special session on Wednesday night. A school from Canada is touring Scotland and stopped in Fort William for a training session. The session was led by Lochaber and Maverick High from Ontario coaches.
The girls really enjoyed it, learnt a lot, made the school and their coaches proud and made lots of new friends!
